Children & Families Proposition // Virgin Atlantic // 2024 - Current
As part of Virgin Atlantic’s mission to deliver brilliantly different travel, I led the design of a new proposition focused on children and families. Central to this was the creation of Wilbur and Orville; two hand-illustrated characters I designed to capture the imagination of younger travellers while reflecting the airline’s core values. I developed a cohesive brand identity for the characters, ensuring their design, personalities, and storytelling aligned with our five key pillars. Crafted with versatility in mind, Wilbur and Orville come to life across a range of touchpoints, reinforcing Virgin Atlantic’s commitment to inclusive, memorable journeys for all.
Christmas Sweatshirt // Virgin Atlantic // 2024
I had the exciting opportunity to design the 2024 Virgin Atlantic Christmas sweatshirt, drawing inspiration from the iconic Virgin sweatshirt famously worn by Princess Diana. The "Fly Atlantic" script captured a timeless look, while the festive design features a playful twist: Santa in a sleigh soaring through the clouds, with a nod to Virgin’s spirit of adventure and travel. It was a perfect blend of holiday cheer and aviation flair, making it a truly special design for the season.
